WOMEX Academy is our hands-on training programme offering mentoring and strategic advice on global music trends and opportunities. We have developped a dedicated partnership in Central Asia with the Aga Khan Music Programme with support from Norwegian Government. It took place in 2020-2022 (online and on site) and involved 31 participants from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. In October 2022, two selected young musicians and arts managers from Kyrgyzstan traveled to Lisbon, Portugal to attend #WOMEX22 - The Worldwide Music Expo, offering them a unique opportunity of face to face networking with fellow artists, producers, and presenters from over 100 countries.
