The Women Building Airports LAX initiative is a program designed to support and promote the contributions of women in the aviation construction industry at #LAX. This initiative highlights the importance of diversity and inclusion by showcasing the achievements and experiences of women professionals working on various projects at LAX and beyond.
This year’s event was held on July 31 at Long Beach Airport, “America’s Coolest Airport,” and hosted by JetZero, an aviation industry startup out of Long Beach, CA. Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) Director of Transformation, Amy Imamura, interviewed special guest, Cynthia Guidry, former LAWA Deputy Executive Director and Airport Director of Long Beach Airport.
