Van Britton was driving through a Virginia Beach neighborhood near the intersection of Lynnhaven Parkway and Centerville Turnpike to visit a friend recent, when, on her way, she saw a five year old boy crying, walking by himself and wearing a backpack. She said it happened last Monday, and the little boy was trying to cross the busy street by himself.
