What they did was find a needle in a haystack! The NYPD's Aviation unit was responding to a 911 call from a scared woman who said she was lost in a wooded area in Brooklyn. While the aircraft they use is outfitted with the best searching technology, they tell WCBS, they didn't need it for this mission. However, there was a problem getting her out of the woods.
