The Malawi Mouse Boys are an African gospel group who got their name from the childhood job through which they all met, selling barbequed field mice on sticks as snacks to travellers by the roadside. They were discovered and recorded by the Grammy award-winning producer Ian Brennan, who recorded their debut album for Independent Records Limited in 2012. After a great set closing the Siam tent on Friday night at Womad Charlton Park 2013, they came backstage on Saturday morning to record a live version of Jesu, from their debut album He Is #1.
