Air Tool Notes:
Average CFM is usually based on a 25% duty cycle (short bursts). Running an air tool continuously consumes higher amounts of air.
Braid & Framing Nailers usually consume .02 to .05 CFM per shot. While the HyperFlow has enough flow for them, the lack of an air tank means that the tool may not work as well (since an air tank works as a buffer in between compressor cycles). If you use one successfully with the HyperFlow please let us know in the comments.
Pencil Grinders usually consume 2 - 4 CFM and should work fine when the compressor is running (keep in mind since this is a tankless air compressor, the grinder is operated when the compressor is running).
Die Grinders and Cut Off Tools, usually consume a lot of CFM, while the HyperFlow may be able to spin them, It's likely you the tool will not achieve it's full power or speed (RPMs).
Even my larger 10 Gal Air Compressor 2HP struggles when I use these type of tools.
Regarding 1/2 Impact Wrench, while it may be able to run, I'm not sure how much power it will actual deliver. The Astro Pneumatic Tool 1832 Impact Wrench is rated at 4.2 CFM which is just a little bit over the CFM rating of the HyperFlow. If you use one successfully with the HyperFlow please let us know in the comments.
