So this wasn’t the next MAP I was planning on releasing and I wanted to get some of my other ones finished first, but then I just decided to open this early because why not.
For almost 2 weeks after reading The Dangerous Gift I just couldn’t think of a suitable song for it, but then I happened to listen to this one again and everything just clicked. Of course scenes are missing but I included the ones that fit best.
Not a rule, but if someone in the comments says they haven’t read/finished the book yet, please don’t reply to them with a ton of spoilers, that’s not nice. Also please don’t tell me that I’ve spoiled the events of the book for you, I have included multiple warnings.
If you also had the idea to make a MAP of this book with the same song, you are welcome to do so, I don’t mind (just don’t steal my art/script)
Please read the rules, it’s not as bad as it looks.

3. There are CHARACTER DESIGNS for some characters so please follow those too. You can simplify the scale patterns if you want to, but please use the right colours. Some designs may contain ‘notes’ under them so read carefully. If there is no reference for a character you need to use, then you may use your own design.
4. Can be AMV or PMV: whichever you feel fits your part best. For PMV please try to add tweening.
5. Add your own music. If you can’t that’s fine, I’ll add it to the finished map anyway. Length of parts is shown in the video, so try to get them as close as possible. Green screening is also allowed: just please make your video a little bit longer than it should be as this makes the editing a bit easier.
6. You must draw a background (don’t just leave it blank) If you want me to check the location/time of day in your part then just ask. Please make your part fullscreen.
7. DON’T ADD LYRICS. (They are only included in the script to give you a feel of the part)
8. Don’t add your channel watermark: I will do that for you. Program watermarks like Flipaclip are fine!
9. Max 2 parts each.
10. Deadline will be set for 3 months after all parts are taken and extensions will be given if needed. If you need to drop out, don’t be afraid to tell me: I won’t be mad or disappointed, I just need to know! (You are also not required to tell me WHY you need to drop out as it may be a personal reason) If the deadline arrives, I will give you extra time and reminders. But if you don’t respond to either I will have to kick you out.
11. Please don’t take it personally if you don’t get a part: you will still be offered the chance to be a backup!
12. Not a rule but if you have a part marked as ‘[vision]’ in the script, I may or may not be adding a pale shimmering border around the edges of those parts. (I haven’t decided yet)

Discovered this song last week and thought the title sounded appropriate for a Moonwatcher meme XD
I know theres already a few original memes with this song but as mine is completely different to the others, Im going to call this one an original meme too XD
I tried to make my editing look more like a professional meme in this one and omg wow am I proud of this :D All of the background scenes have a small amount of tweening, some more obvious than others.
The timing is a bit out in parts because it got really hard to listen to the specific parts near the end XD
Righty then, so this is Moonwatcher having some visions of the future, and shes clutching her head and crying because apparently she gets splitting headaches from the visions and the visions themselves are usually awful. Someone give this girl some soup.
The visions include: The Jade Mountain prophecy, the history cave fire, Turtle and Anemone fighting on the beach and Darkstalkers scroll.
The dragon shadow in the second part is Darkstalker talking to Moon in her mind while hes still under the mountain (because both of them are mindreaders)
I know Moon hatched under 2 full moons, but the reason theyre not full in the intro is because shes meant to be grown up in that drawing not just newly hatched.
And yes I changed Moons design to the one more commonly used because I like it and in the end, my original one just started looking a bit weird XD
I hope this one gets some good views, because this was painful to do XD

My backgrounds look better in this because I had the graphic novel to use as a reference so that helped XD

It’s finally here! So this was supposed to be a Pride Month special, but as you can see I’m super late because June snuck up on me and I didn’t start this early enough. Even though it’s not June anymore, I hope you still enjoy this wholesome Pride PMV starring my WoF OC’s.
For anyone who isn’t sure, Dawn is a SandWing/RainWing hybrid and Moonseeker is a NightWing and they’re girlfriends. They meet for the first time at Jade Mountain Academy during the current events of the WoF books. They are both placed in the Gold Winglet (Moonseeker is the replacement for Bigtail and Dawn is the replacement for Onyx) and they’re Clawmates (roommates).
[And they were roommates…]
Moonseeker is a lesbian and has a huge crush on Dawn from pretty much the moment they meet. Dawn is bi and becomes best friends with Moonseeker from the beginning and later develops feelings for her over the next few months. 6 months into the Academy and Moonseeker accidently confesses her feelings for Dawn and they start dating. 5 years later they get married in the rainforest and each wear heart shaped earrings with a gem that contains the colours of the other.

The PMV shows the time they spent together at Jade Mountain and I hope I portrayed their wholesomeness well enough ^^
The only canon characters in the video are Fatespeaker who is in the first (indoor) shot handing out welcome scrolls to new students, and Queen Glory at the end. The other characters in the video are random dragonets I’ve created for the video but haven’t given any backstories yet. For names I was thinking maybe Cocoa for the MudWing, Pierce for the IceWing and Caramel for the SkyWing.
I tried to draw the backgrounds using only the colours of the lesbian and bi pride flags, but I’ve never been hugely great at colour palettes so most of the caves were just the oranges on the lesbian flag with the other colours scattered around in various places. The background during the wedding is in normal colours because I previously did a speedpaint of that scene and I loved how it came out so I didn’t want to change the colours. I just realised I messed up and there’s a scene where Dawn is holding a basket of normal coloured apples which I coloured before deciding on the flag palette but it’s too late to change that now.
I’ve never been great at drawing backgrounds and you can see which ones I actually put effort into, and which ones I really didn’t, but either way I hope it still looks Ok.
My proportions are off in some scenes; someday I promise I will actually try to study proportions, perspectives and backgrounds properly but apparently today is not that day.
For some reason my dumb brain thought I could edit this together in 2 days… ha, yeah, so naturally it took over a week. I’m so glad I added the lyrics, it looks so much better now!

I really like the pose on this one, even if her legs aren’t proportioned quite right. The flag in this one is more of a long winding scarf.
Dawn is flying (heh, dragon pun) the Bi/Bisexual flag.
I think the song is supposed to be a breakup song, but I keep seeing it used in pride videos under the name ‘Bi Bi Bi’ so I thought I’d use it too. (Dawn and Moonseeker ARE still together, they’re not breaking up)
