Every 5 or 10 years the demons of darkness compel me to compose something original, no doubt consisting of fragments of other people's music stitched together into a Frankenstein monster of sound.
We are currently being reminded that our kind is not necessarily at the top of the food chain. We can be eliminated rather easily whenever Mother Nature (or your preferred god) gets tired of our destructive antics. Hopefully, this is a warning and not the beginning of a cleanup operation.
