On my trip to wonderful Chico I came around a couple trucks. One of them was a Freightliner Condor with a Heil Python. I have to guess this is truck is a 2004 or 2005. In Chico it's open market meaning you can pick your hauler, which are Recology of Butte county or Waste Management. Fun fact Chico is the last city that is open market in California but that will soon change. You might be wondering why did I see no Recology or NorCal Waste carts. Well this is one of the few neighborhoods that are only WM. You will get to see some open market video from Chico very soon so stay tuned.
Now more on the truck. First off the video is a little short as when you sign up with WM and or Recology a typical contact is to you get 1 64 gallon recycling cart and your choice of 35,64,96 gallon trash cart. 96 gallon yard waste carts are an extra fee and most people would rather just put there yard trimming in there garbage. But i'm really happy on how much footage I got as I could have gotten a lot less. I guess you can call it skill but I figured out his route and where he will stop next without any prior knowledge of this route or driver. Also I don't know if you can notice but in person you can tell that the truck is having alittle trouble with the arm making in the last portion before the cart enters the hopper.
