I don´t know anything about this piano other than it´s a Wm. Knabe & Co. I fell in love 3 seconds after I started playing and I was glued to this piano for some 30 minutes until they literally asked me to stop playing. From all pianos I have played in the USA, this was one of my favorites. Recorded in Salt Lake City in February 2017.
Wm. Knabe & Co. was a piano manufacturing company in Baltimore, Maryland from the middle of the nineteenth century through the beginning of the 20th century, and continued as a division of Aeolian-American at East Rochester, New York until 1982. It is currently a line of pianos manufactured by Samick Musical Instruments.
