Wizards of the Coast felt the best course of action after having March of the Machines: Aftermath leaked online was to hire the PINKERTONS to confiscate the product that was LEAGALLY PURCHSED.

The owner did not have to give the product back despite what the Pinkertons told him but chose to do so anyways. He also was not at risk of any real repercussions or jail time despite what the Pinkertons told him.
