Paprika was a gentle kit, born to outsider she-cat Peppercorn. Within the confines of the icy territory of TundraClan— clan gifted with the trait of horns —she and her half-clan child found peace. Yet, as is commonly said, nothing last forever. Her son, absorbed in the desperate struggle to be seen as worthy by his clanmates, chased his own mother out of the clan. Now, that softness Peppercorn loved so dearly has been replaced by a harsh bitterness. She knows her son hates her. She know he’d strike her like any other outsider if she dare approach TundraClan’s borders. Yet, even in that knowledge she can’t help but miss her son, and what used to be.
