In this video, we continue our conduit loop-in method series using PVC singles lighting circuits. building on the previous videos, we move beyond office 1 and complete the first fix wiring for office 2 and office 3, each controlled by their own one-way switch.
Using the wiring diagrams developed earlier in the series, we'll explore how to extend the neutral, permanent line, switching line, and CPC conductors through the conduit system while maintaining correct wiring practices. Along the way, we'll discuss why the permanent line is looped through switch commons, common CPC routing challenges, and practical installation considerations that learners will encounter both in college workshops and on-site.
This series is designed to help electrical students, apprentices, and anyone learning conduit wiring develop a solid understanding of PVC singles installations, first fixing techniques, and circuit design.
📚 Topics covered:
✔ Conduit loop in method
✔ PVC singles lighting circuits
✔ One-way lighting circuits
✔ First fix installation
✔ Permanent line looping
✔ Switching line identification
✔ CPC routing considerations
✔ Electrical apprenticeship training
✔ City & Guilds electrical installation skills
Whether you're following along at home, in college, or preparing for your electrical apprenticeship, this video will help build the knowledge and confidence needed to understand conduit wiring systems.
