Today I have an important announcement, I am now the proud owner of Just ‘Cuz Robotics, LLC! Instead of just a YouTube channel, in order to facilitate selling and distributing my own physical products, I’ve founded a company. Now, this won’t change what I plan to do with this channel but it is a big step towards trying to make this hobby somewhat financially sustainable. I’m going to do a series of three videos highlighting my first three products: The Basic PD Board, the All-In-One PD Board which includes a BEC and power LED, and the Just ‘Cuz PCB Switch. Today we’ll focus on the Basic Power Distribution Board.

Trying out a few new upgrades and finding problems to solve along the way!
Division is my 3-pound Beetleweight combat robot, slated to compete in the July 24th Norwalk Havoc competition in Norwalk, Connecticut. Division spins a nearly 10-oz AR500 steel blade that is 7.5 inches in diameter at up to nearly 12000 RPM resulting in tip speeds approaching 235 miles per hour. With over a kilowatt of weapon motor power, the bot can get itself out of most sticky situations using the gyroscopic acceleration forces of the weapon or the sheer torque of its weapon motor.
