This was an odd one, so I wanted to look into what happened.

On August 31, 2026, 27 riders were left stranded 50 feet (15 meters) in the air after the Wipeout rollercoaster at Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park in Lowestoft, Suffolk, unexpectedly broke down.🎢
What Happened? The Cause: Eyewitnesses reported a power cut that affected multiple rides across the park.
Video footage captured the coaster swinging back and forth before grinding to a sudden halt.
Carriages stopped on the Cobra Roll section of the track.
Riders were suspended high up but were not upside down.
No one was in real danger here.
