Apple A Day Winter is the Prepare for Renewal season.
Winter is often the season we try to avoid. It can arrive through endings, grief, illness, uncertainty, transition, career change, disappointment, waiting, or the quiet realization that something in life is ready to be released.
But Winter is not the end.
In this video, I’m talking about what it means to move through a Winter season of personal growth — not as failure, not as wasted time, and not as standing still, but as preparation for renewal.
Apple A Day Winter invites us to rest, reflect, release what no longer serves us, prune what has become too heavy, strengthen our roots, and trust that new growth may already be beginning beneath the surface.
I also share a few real-life reflections from this week: hitching up and returning to the horse ranch, bringing the rain with me, Kismet wanting more room while still needing boundaries, and the discernment that comes when new creative doors begin to open.
Winter reminds us that not every open door is an automatic yes.
Sometimes an open door is an invitation to pause, pray, reflect, and ask whether it belongs in this season.
Inside Apple A Day Winter, you’ll find daily reflections and companion journal pages designed to help you work through a season of release, renewal, and preparation one small step at a time.
Winter is not the end.
Rest is not failure.
Reflection is not standing still.
Letting go is not giving up.
Sometimes Winter is where your next season is quietly being prepared.
