The temp was +4 when I stepped out of my car at Falls Park in Sioux Falls. It's been a very cold January and I wondered what the city's signature waterfalls looked like after this cold snap.
It was so cold that my iphone shut down and had to be placed by my cars heater vent to get warmed up before it would power back up.
I was surprised to see as much water running as there was. The cold temps along with the stark beauty of the ice and the sounds of the falling water provided a brief tranquil escape.
