Winter and camping are two words that are not often heard together. For some it's probably for good reason as it does offer its share of challenges. But I will tell you that there is nothing like it; not only for the challenge, but also for the bliss of the solitude that you experience.
This video is a short video of my experience at a recent winter camp with my friend Russ from OutsideMichigan. We hiked out on the North Country Trail to spend the night in below freezing and windy conditions.
