RV roof maintenance is one of the most important things to perform. Using the right RV roof sealant on the fiberglass roof of your Winnebago RV is critical and chances are if you own a Winnebago motorhome with a fiberglass roof, you're probably using the wrong sealant on it. Winnebago fiberglass roofs are different that most RV roofs in that Winnebago uses a silicone self-leveling sealant instead of the traditional Dicor type sealant. Nuflex311 is the sealant the Winnebago factory uses on their fiberglass roof. Most RVers use the well known Dicor, but Dicor will not stick to the Nuflex 311 self-leveling silicone sealant used on the Winnebago fiberglass roof. RV DIY repair is a good way to keep rv roof maintenance costs down and avoid costly rv roof leak repairs, but selecting the wrong sealants can really cost you too. RV roof maintenance is critical and selecting the right sealant for a Winnebago RV fiberglass roof is one of the most important maintenance tasks to keep RV roof leaks at bay. We finish up 0ur 30 day desert boondocking challenge near Lake Havasu City, AZ and we share the results with you! Propane, water, fuel and fees - how did we do? What was our biggest disappointment and surprise, and what was the impact on our mental health? Boondocking is not for everyone, was it for us?? Would we boondock for this long again?? Watch the four part series for tips, tricks, hacks, beautiful locations and how to prepare. Plus, we share how much we spent per day! One item in our coach completely saved the day! What was it? We share in this final segment of our 30 day boondocking challenge in the Arizona desert.
Lyf Uninterrupted takes on their first 30-day desert boondocking challenge in the beautiful desert of Arizona. This is our first time boondocking for this amount of time. Free BLM camping in Arizona is plentiful and we plan to take advantage of whats available in Quartzsite, Parker and Lake Havasu City, AZ. The Southwest offers some of the most beautiful and wide-spread (open) BLM camping you can find.
How did we fare on propane, water, camping fees and electricity? Well share it with you along with what it cost us to do this. Imagine having the beautiful, expansive, open desert as your home base for 30 days. Best of all, its FREE camping! Living in the desert may sound challenging to some, but its something we are absolutely loving. Boondocking doesnt have to be scary, it just has to be planned for, especially if you plan to do it for a longer length of time. Brian removed our regular RV toilet and put in place a Natures Head composting toilet. This has allowed us to boondock, off grid, for a lengthy period of time. It has allowed us to conserve water and significantly reduce the need to dump our gray tank. Watch the video to find out how weve been able to boondock without needing to dump!

In this video, I do a review of the Haloview Wireless RV Backup Camera model MC7108.

We have a Class A motorhome with a hardwired backup camera system and Ive always been curious how wireless rv backup camera systems operate and perform. Having never used a wireless rv backup camera system I was curious how easy it would be to install and use.
So far Im pleased with what Ive found. The installation process (in my case) was simple and straightforward., The components in the kit are of high quality and the display resolution is excellent. So far the wireless connectivity has been very good, and I love the built-in ability to record the camera video onto a micro SD card.
During the video, I go over the features and operation then state all my likes and dislikes. Future videos will provide more in-depth footage and review of long-term performance of the Haloview MC7108 wireless rv backup camera system.

RVing bloopers happen. From time to time, creating videos can be tough for even the most experienced videographer. Sometimes youre clicking on all cylinders and other times the words just get stuck in your head or what comes out is not even close to what you meant. Its not unusual for us to forget where we are, forget our lines, be completely out of sync with each other, experience a complete loss of words or find ourselves upstaged by our dogs, the weather, airplanes and other technical difficulties. RV bloopers, blunders and outtakes are all part of the important learning process and create some of the funniest RV blooper video moments. For example, Brian describes the ocean as rough and Shawnna says perfect - not even close! What do you do with that? Most Class A motorhome owners with the F53 chassis have heard of the Cheap Handling Fix, but have you ever wondered what it really takes to make a gas Class A coach ride better?
In this video I show you upgrades to the Ford F53 chassis on our 2008 Winnebago Class A motorhome. First I installed a set of Sumo Springs followed by Koni FSD shocks on all four corners, but I still wasnt completely happy with the ride quality. To get rid of the excess body-roll I installed front and rear Roadmaster Anti-sway bars. To eliminate most of the tail wag I installed an Ultratrac rear track bar. One of the key components to help reduce rut tracking and pushing by the wind is the Safe T Plus Steering Stabilizer.
All of the F53 chassis suspension upgrades really made a huge different in how the coach handles. Its a pleasure to drive now and driver fatigue and white knuckles are a thing of the past thanks to quality products from Sumo Springs, Roadmaster, Koni and Safe T Plus.

In 2019, Rocky Point - Puerto Penasco will soon have its first cruise ship arrive in the newly constructed Puerto Penasco cruise ship port. We are long time visitors to Rocky Point, Mexico and have spent many years enjoying the 6 things highlighted in this video. All come highly recommended. Dont let the media hype scare you away from traveling to Mexico! Puerto Penasco relies heavily on tourism and the people of Rocky Point have gone out of their way to make visitors feel safe!
Recreation and accommodations abound in Puerto Penasco - Rocky Point! Ocean activities, beach activities, resort and RV accommodations are plentiful. We like to stay at Playa Bonita Rv park whenever we visit Rocky Point. This used to be a quiet shrimping village that has grown significantly in the last 30 years; however, the Mexican beaches are clean, the accommodations are outstanding and the restaurants and bars are dishing out fun and enjoyment. Puerto Penascos water is a turquoise blue and the beaches are a light, soft colored sand. You can find vendors selling everything from Mexican Pina Coladas to Blankets on the beach. If youre hungry, just wait, someone selling authentic Mexican empanadas or burritos will be by to satisfy your hunger. This one of the nicest and cleanest Mexican Beaches around.
Weve been coming to Rocky Point - Puerto Penasco for over 40 years and have seen the growth take place in this sleepy village. Most of all, weve seen how accommodating and welcoming the Mexican citizens of Puerto Penasco have been to all visitors. We are full time RVers and made this our first stop on our full time RV journey. The best times to visit Rocky Point are May and October, but the rest of the year is good too. Its a true gem and one of Mexicos best kept secrets! We hope youll enjoy coming to Puerto Penasco, Rocky Point, Mexico as much as we do and we look forward to the first cruise ship to arrive in Rocky Point.
