Hey guys!

Welcome to the first Beta Battle Tournament held by Wings of Darkness Studios! Thanks to everyone who is participating! We had a huge success for Round One!

ROUND TWO:
This BBT will be hosted in a ''IC/Dueling'' style, meaning two editors face off against each other and whomsoever entry was voted most upon by the judges gets into the next round -
This round is an IC round.
• Both editors will be required to edit to the same song of their choosing, they are not required to let me know what song they have chosen. They can edit different sections of the song eg.
• Editor A edits a chorus and Editor B edits a verse and an instrumental bridge
• Or you can both edit the same segment - both edit the chorus.
• You can make them connect, like Editor A starts with a instrumental bridge and verse and Editor B's part follows on from the chorus.

The reason for this asking you to IC is to see how well you communicate and if you can both edit the same song and have no issues just like you are in a MEP.

☠☞ Second Round Rules

• Games Published by Square Enix and Capcom Only.
• Please use songs of the Genres: Rock, Nu metal, heavy metal, Prog rock, and/or EuroGoth
• Edit has to be minimum of 30seconds - no maximum time.
• The video has to be YOURS of course, not stolen.
• Edit must be Darkstyle - most definitely no pink.
• If you fail to meet deadline, your dueling partner automatically gets through to next round. Unless if you both fail to meet deadline you both are disqualified.
• If you are able to edit under these strict conditions, you will have no problems whatsoever in Wings of Darkness Studios :)

☠☞ BBT Specifics

• If everything goes according to plan, the BBT should last anywhere between 3-5 months.
• Each round will be 3-4 weeks.
• In between each round will be 1 week for judging.
• Each round will require you to make a video at minimum 30 seconds long no maximum, excluding the entry round.
• WoD is based around EuroGoth, Rock and Nu Metal music, so any edits of you using EuroGoth, Rock and Nu Metal songs will get your chances higher for passing onto the next round! If you usually edit with that type of music, great! If you don't, it'll be a great way to learn a different style of editing!
• Prizes have been modified as contestant numbers changed, as such there is no longer a top 3, only a runner up and a winner. Apologies for any inconvenience.
