June 22 marks Windrush Day, a day which commemorates and celebrates the contributions made by the Windrush generation and their descendants.
This year Windrush Day is particularly special, as it marks the 75th anniversary of the first arrival of the HMT Empire Windrush in 1948.
To commemorate this, we asked staff and students here at Birmingham to share their thoughts on what Windrush Day means to them.
