Thus far we have looked at the Windows Javascript language, and how to perform some common procedures such as adding Event Handlers and using custom Windows 8 Javascript controls.

Now, we need to start looking at the bigger picture : How an application exists on a Windows 8 machine, and how we persist data when the state of the application changes.

In this video, I will go over the life-cycle of a Windows 8 application in general, and show you how to persist data using the roamingSettings API.
