Incident 0xFIREYISSUPREME: March 31st, 2021.
I am a VM user, and I wanted to look like a Firey hater as a joke. So, I went to YouTube on a Windows 7 VM while on a VC with a few friends (they all had their mic off) and created an account to like BFB 25 for a joke. After clicking the like button, the whole screen started glitching. Thank god I was running this on a VM. I recorded the whole thing to send to a Microsoft I.T expert, to see if I could recover the operating system, since I have no snapshots.
After the glitching was finished, my friends were shocked. They thought "IT" has come for us. I have no idea what "IT" is, but I wanted to find out. After a second more, "IT" was revealed. Reminder that I clicked the like button as Firey was being eliminated, so my best guess is that "IT" has something to do with BFB. I looked at the text. "The Inferno has caught sight of your sin and is taking action." Is this really it? Is Firey infecting my VM as revenge for liking BFB 25? I waited 30 seconds for the VM to shutdown, and I booted it up again. After I logged back on, I ran Internet Explorer and found out the like button never registered. I clicked it again, and the glitching came back. "Why is this happening?" I said in the VC. All of my friends had no idea. The crash screen came back but with a more green-ish background. I read the text. "The Inferno knows you haven't undone your sin." Is Firey really this serious about a joke? I thought for a while. The VM shut off again, so I booted it back up. Ladeeda, logged back on, all of that, but, when I clicked it again, it did more intensive glitching. I really thought that would be the last straw for the video drivers on that machine, but it was far from it.
The crash screen looked yellow now. "What the...?" I said in the VC. All of my friends thought my VM would be inaccessible next bootup. When I read the text, it said "The Inferno isn't joking around." That was the moment I almost peed myself. Firey REALLY wants me to dislike it, but, this is a VM, and he has no control over my ACTUAL computer, or so I thought. I rebooted the VM as usual, tried to like BFB 25 again, but, I felt the computer this time and almost burned my hand. I told my friends I needed to go, since it's probably the VC. "The Inferno has risen your computers CPU temperature to 120 degrees." I put my computer on a nearby intensive cooler and continued testing my luck, and rejoined the VC. The VM shutdown, I rebooted it, and almost crapped myself. The red text and black background wasn't really helping with my fear of the dark. I read the text this time, and it said "Your Windows installation is slowly being slimmed to only allow your browser." I checked my actual installation, and everything was fine.
The VM restarted once again, and it actually DID only allow my browser. I continued testing my luck, and the OS crashed again. I read the text, and it said "C:\Windows is compressed to 40MB." Well, on the bright side, I have an extra 7GB free on my computer now! "This is your last warning. If BFB 25 isn't disliked 60 seconds after the computer reboots, The Inferno will dispose of your computer painlessly." I laughed sarcastically, knowing he wouldn't do squat. I rebooted, and tried to open other programs. At the last second, I liked BFB 25 again, and this time, it worked. But, the screen glitched REALLY intensely now. The VM shut down immediately after the glitching, and I tried to boot up the VM again. "Starting Windows" I jumped in hope. Maybe Firey was playing a prank on me! I imediately thought otherwise when I saw the text. "You didn't listen." "You never do." "Now, it is time for the desposition. Forgive me for this." What I saw next made me soil my pants and scream in fear. "Your computer is slowly being disposed painlessly. Do not turn off or unplug your (now deceased) computer." I felt my heart drop. For the first few seconds of that screen, I didn't even feel a pulse on my wrist. My body came back to normal, fortunately. But, what in the world is that screeching noise? Also, I saw Firey, and I immediately knew he wasn't joking. I heard a few popping noises on my laptop and started panicing. I forced everything back in out of fear. Luckily, the laptop still worked and booted up.
After the desposition, the VM went black. I thought this was it. After a second, I heard something from the VM. A sign of life. "Wait, something's wrong!" I exclaimed. That was the BFB intro song. Not a sign of life. I saw some text fade in. "Your motherboard, speakers, hard-drive, CD-ROMS, and CPU have all been fried, and the computer can no longer power on. Firey reigns supreme." The VM faded out. I tried booting it up again, but it shuts down immediately after. So, thats the story about how my VM got obliterated, and almost my laptop. One last thing... FIREY REIGNS SUPREME.
