wow something actually fully coloured for once ??!! its still messy as all my art tends to be these days, but done is better than none
It was also interesting messing with the typography stuff and layering it all there
this entire animation was based off a dream i had where i was running chasing someone/something until i ended up on a starry hillside, it was orginally day time then suddenly switched to night in that dream

also yeah its like 3am again whats new. in regards to making this animation, i always find that making abstract visuals relating to my mood is often the only thing that can accurately capture my feelings, its why i bounce around different animations and make so many. if my mood aligns with the original feelings of one animation i usually come back to it.

map part for FunkyFreshLanas map, it uses a colour palette.
I was looking to get a chance to work on something that i could really try and make a bit more like the same calibre of a lot of my older map parts, spending probably the same amount of time I used to do for those as well. This entire animation took me approx, 42 ish hours. for 8 whole seconds ._. As much as I do enjoy making complex and more smooth animations it really just isnt that feasible for me to make something like this frequently at all. I might post a process thing akin to the pitbull terrier animation for this later. Drawing the electricity effects was a first for me, as well as the buildings moving/ a bit more interaction with the environment in this animation. backgrounds take forever. anyways at least this is done now. hope you like it

You know this was supposed to be a simple sketch until I kinda went ham. I am slowly trying to get into the habit of just letting things be kind of messy and bad looking if it means that an animation will be completed. But also I tried a bunch of experimental stuff here too. Anyways hope youre ready for more STAR. uh the meaning of this is something something idk, this video fits valentines day thematically I guess. Every personal animation is just visual metaphors that probably mean something or because it just looks cool (or both, yippee) Also this is half inspired by psych class and going to the eye doctor.

ive had this idea in my head for this song for like ages so i was like ok what if we do the animation challenge thing again just to force myself to get the idea out of my head. also not bedrot!! yay no bedrotting!!!
so for 5 hours its ok i suppose. you know i thought it would be worse. i was thinking i was gonna have trouble drawing okaruns like emo boy form because i just dont. often draw male characters. and when i do they are all like kinda soft looking. in the end i think it was ok. this all is pretty ok all things considered. the ending just got progressively messier as i looked at the timer and was like rushing and rushing to finish it.

shorter one this time around compared to my other unfinished animation drops since i dunno how much ill be drawing rn so id thought id post whatever, maybe ill do something for the day after valentines since ive weirdly made it a habit of making something on that day for like the past 2 years but feb is just an evil month for me i always feel the most like actively suicidal in february or november /shrug
on that note my therapist wants to see my animations i guess as they are in essence just diary entries and probably the only way i convey my feelings but its like so you see this one is about this one time this one thing happened that fundamentally changed me for the worse and the animation is flipping, star beach episode. Im also supposed to be expressing myself more in general to people so i can connect with them emotionally but idk i think that most of the things i feel are bad and so i just sound negative and terrible all the time and i do not really wanna sound like that. just feels kind of toxic :|, or maybe its like theres no way that feels expressive that doesnt also just feel toxic aside from drawing. Who in their right mind wants to be around someone constantly negative, its draining. I would know, the person is me, and im around her. Constantly. ._. Anyways i write the above just to at least say i tried as per headshrinkers orders. Despite my reservations.
