Really really low resolution i had to deal with. Original PS1 video is in 224x192 and 15 FPS.
I extracted the video to still images and then i upscaled all 2313 frames with waifu2x to 1440x1080 and kept the original framerate. The music is ripped from the OST because it was only mono in the video.
I also did some tests with the PSP version but even if the resolution was a little higher there was not more detail and colors were washed out so i decided against this version. i include links to some comparison images in a pinned comment.
It's not perfect and many small details got lost but it's the best i could do and i hope you will like it nonetheless.
