A powerful storm sent two trees crashing right onto a home in the Monte Vista neighborhood — one through the roof, and another into a neighbor's fence. Homeowner Michael Danforth says he was inside admiring the rainfall when strong winds suddenly moved in, and within seconds, a tree fell on the very room he was sitting in.


If that wasn't enough, a nearby transformer caught fire, sending Danforth scrambling to call CPS Energy and get out fast. He's now waiting on his insurance company to assess the roof damage before any cleanup begins. 👇
