Wilshire celebrated its 35th anniversary on Oct. 19, 1986. The service included former staffer Kermit Whiteaker; Rev. Patrick Goodland of Gorsley, England; Minette Drumwright, widow of Wilshire's first pastor, Huber Drumwright; Ralph Langley, Wilshire's second pastor; music led by Bill James; and the announcement of the naming of the chapel for pastor Bruce McIver.
