Part 2 of my Japan Historical playthrough in Hearts of Iron 4. We last left off going on a spree of conquest: defeating China in mid-1939, joining the Germans in defeating the Soviets by mid-1942, and then unleashing our assault upon the Western Allies in January 1943. With much of Southeast Asia conquered, Japan now looks west towards India, and East towards the Pacific. But despite all the previous conquests, Japan is still at an industrial disadvantage. Can Japan overcome the odds? Perhaps a secret project might help with that...
