Hunting Grounds, Damnation level gameplay using the Accatran Mk VIIa Recon Lasgun and Standard-Issue Munitorum Sapper Shovel.
Recently I tried the Mk II Recon Lasgun (youtu.be/wSr8QmHW8o8) and felt it was the worst Lasgun in the game. I still stand by this currently, though I need to try some changes to the build suggested in the comments of that video to confirm my beliefs.
Similarly to the Infantry Lasgun's, the slower, stronger variant feels the best. The Mk VIIa has moments of competency yet still lets you down sometimes, especially when trying to kill Elites. I wouldn't take this into Shock Troop Gauntlet, and probably not even Hi-Intensity. If you are being rushed by enemies, I don't believe it will have the power to push through it all without being carried by your team. I do have to find Infurnus to complete the build in the video, but it would only make a minor difference.
Overall, this weapon felt strong compared to the Mk II, however in comparison to the other Las weapons, it still feels very weak.
