I needed a better way to store veneers in the workshop, so I designed a new shelf with an unusual exposed joint.
The idea was simple — make the shelves easy to rearrange while keeping them securely locked in place. But would the joint actually hold?
In this video, we test the idea, build the full shelf from an old cabinet countertop, and turn another corner of the workshop into a more organized storage system.
