Will Smartphones Get More Expensive in 2018?
2018 will be the year of smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S9, Red Hydrogen One, Oneplus 6, Galaxy S9 plus, and Galaxy X. While we may not know all their internal specs, camera specs, battery life, price or even release date, we can definitely say they these smartphones will not be cheap. But i can't wait to see all the amazing smartphones that we will see in 2018.
Apple iPhone X - $1000. Apple iPhone 8 - $700. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 - $900. Samsung Galaxy S8 - $800. These are just a few of the top brand name smartphones of 2017. Phones with extremely good performance, great cameras, and great specs. There is no doubt that smartphones prices are increase with every new model released, and with every new year, we expect a new model to be released. But just how much will prices increase in 2017?

The Smartphone industry has clearly been switching its focus to drive sales value, and top tier global brands, such as Apple, Google, HTC, Huawei, LG, Moto, Nokia, Samsung and Sony, either already have, or will release, new premium models in an effort to upsell customers to their flagship devices. This is something which can clearly be seen by the global director of telecom research at the organization known as Growth from Knowledge.
The New Upcoming Smartphones of 2018 will be powerful devices, but power does not come cheap. Also, I've heard that smartphones like the iPhone SE 2, new Nokia 6, Sony Xperia ZX Edge, Xiaomi Mi Note 4 and Huawei P11 will be coming in 2018, so Tech in 2018 is looking pretty sweet!!
