I started this one back in the beginning of February hoping to release it on Valentine's Day, but as you can tell, that didn't happen! I think the reason why is because of two things: a bit of burnout and the subject matter of this track on its own, which to be honest, it felt a bit desperate and selfish for me to make to a point where it was just kinda hard to finish. I'm still glad that I got this done though.
Knowing myself as a trans lesbian, I keep on getting these worrying thoughts about what will happen to me romantically, especially with this worry of looking too "masculine" for any sapphic person to truly love me, and I mean "love" in the romantic sense btw. I know this worry is a bit too exaggerated, but it's still a worry that I keep on thinking about, especially due to the fact that I'm 2 meters tall and have a naturally deep voice. Thankfully, these worries have been occurring less frequently since I've started this track and I'm overall feeling a bit more optimistic about these sorts of things, which is a good thing for me. So with all that, I think this is what the track is kinda about, along with a touch of other things (will not say what they are though, mueh heh heh).
