A 2025 trail cam near TNC’s Gila River Preserve captured a host of wildlife in the floodplain, including bears, turkeys, a fawn, a coati, bobcats, a coyote, a coues buck and a ringtail. These sightings reflect TNC’s ongoing work in the Valley and its management to restore the riparian corridor and wetlands, protecting habitat and ultimately improving biodiversity.
