The question of who should pay when a wildfire destroys a community is now at the center of a last-minute fight at the State Capitol. Governor Gavin Newsom says his proposed plan would put wildfire survivors first — and help stabilize California's struggling utilities. But some survivors say it does just the opposite, and would let the companies responsible for some of the state’s deadliest fires off the hook. Capitol correspondent Eytan Wallace spoke with an Eaton Fire survivor who has a message for the governor — and has the governor's response.
