Footage shows the aftermath of the major wildfire that tore through Stourbridge, West Midlands, leaving large areas of land blackened and homes destroyed or damaged. Images show charred vegetation, burned trees, damaged fencing and a heavily scorched railway embankment, with residential properties visible beyond the burned ground. The blaze, which began near Stourbridge Golf Club on August 13, spread across more than 500 acres, destroying 19 homes and damaging a further 18. Firefighters have brought the main blaze under control, although crews continue to monitor the area for hotspots. A care home in Stourbridge was also evacuated as a precaution after sustaining minor damage.
