Cover version of the 1966 song 'Wild Thing' by The Troggs - written by American songwriter Chip Taylor. This was the song that gave British band The Troggs' their big break. As original lead singer - the late Reg Presley (1941-2013) said in an interview, after someone raved about the recording while he was working as a bricklayer back in the 1960's, that was the precise moment when he decided to down his tools and chase the dream, never to look back. Just as well, as the band would go on to have other hit songs including 'With A Girl Like You' and 'Love Is All Around' (both written by Reg Presley); the latter in turn becoming a huge hit for Scottish band 'Wet Wet Wet' in 1994.
