This week I have a treat, it's an unboxing of a surprise gift from Rebecca Balfour of Wild Rose Atelier. The only thing I knew about it was "it includes a busk" and she asked me the first initial of my husband's name, as well as my address.
I honestly had no idea the incredible amount of work and personalization that would go into this, but the final reveal was breathtaking! So much thoughtfulness and care was put into choosing the swatches, the color scheme, the pyrography designs, even the type of wood and the pressed flowers used.
I love the little "sweetheart" top of the busk as well, it's a barely perceptible detail that you only see when you look at it close-up, and so very sweet.
Beyond creating busk displays, Rebecca is a highly skilled corsetiere who specializes in support corsets for those with hypermobility and chronic back pain, as well as waterproof bathing corsets, couture / bridal, and everything in between.
