It is with immense pleasure that I finally release my anticipated short film 'WILD NAMIBIA' documenting landscapes, celestial events and wildlife of Namibia. Except for a few sequences, this short film is exclusively in real-time and in day-time, which I am not used to producing since I specialize on nighttime footage, but Namibian nature is irresistible. I did shoot some nighttime real-time sequences too, which are featured in this movie. I also shot new timelapse sequences, which I will be publishing in the next few weeks in another film.
I drove between 5000 and 10000 km and also literally risked my life to get the shots (full story for my members). Also most of the shots are taken from a car window without a gimbal, and at extremely long focal length (between 200 and 2000 mm). A lot of the shots were very challenging, especially with the wind in Namibia and simply keeping the horizon straight. We also saw some incredible behavior that I unfortunately did not manage to capture because of multiple reasons.
