The Teddy Bears Christmas is a heartwarming 23-minute animated special that was part of Canadian CTVs 1992 holiday lineup.
The special stars Sally, who writes a letter to Santa asking for her very own Teddy Bear, which was a secret between herself and her brother’s teddy bear, Ben.
After the family dog devours the letter, Ben embarks on a quest to locate Santa personally. Upon reaching the local toy shop where Santa is expected to visit, Ben encounters another teddy bear who joins him on his journey back home. However, their path takes an unexpected turn when they get separated due to a passing snowplow.
Come Christmas morning, Sally eagerly unwraps her presents. Ben, however, grows anxious, fearing that Sally might be disappointed for not receiving a teddy bear. Yet, he quickly discovers that she did receive one – the very same teddy bear he encountered at the toy shop.
