I watched The Odyssey, in spite of the dire warnings from right-wing lunatics who thought it would spell the end of Western Civilization.
They were wrong. It's an epic movie that represents some of the best values of modern Western Civilization, whatever that is. I love the fact that the world is diverse and complicated and is always changing.

Be warned: at the end, just because I can, I tacked on some video of my backyard jungle, which is full of bugs and birds and spiders. It is also wild and complex.
