April 9, 2012 1:00 PM - According to entertainment site Forget The Box, the price of the Wii U in the United States will be $300.00.
The source cited that Nintendo got a great deal on the GPU and CPU that the Wii U uses. This way Nintendo was able to reduce hardware production costs and at the same time provide a product that can compete with todays HD consoles.
Nintendo have not yet made any official announcement regarding the price on the Wii U. I seems that we will get more information after this year E3.
