it's so over man
i've ran over 100 games and hundreds more categories to go along with them, but out of all of those, 18 hole in wii sports resort is the category i've sunk the most time into. despite this, i've always felt unsatisfied with my pbs, even the big ones that stood for a while. 10:54 had a god awful 18, 10:43 and 10:37 had pretty slow resorts, and 10:28 had the most heartbreaking replay imaginable at the end. something at the back of my mind has been itching for an 18 hole pb i'm happy with.
after two 1x chokes to 18, a couple 5:1x resorts, lots of practice on https://packproject.dev/Caddie/, and some terrible luck, i've achieved something i'm satisfied with. a good resort 9 (5:23) followed by a good classic 9 (4:57). the only super notable mistake was on 14, where i hit the 7-iron just .1 or so too little and hit the bunker instead of making it onto the green. looking back, it might've just made me less anxious for the rest of the run, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise.
thanks to everyone who got me here. i'm sure i'll beat this eventually, heck maybe even in a week or something, but this was special to me.
