We celebrated the festival of Imbolc – when the light is returning when the light chases away the shadows. Marked by many as seeing the first snowdrops, it is a welcome sign that Spring is not far away. Imbolc, which means ‘In the belly’, is when the lambs are born but it’s still the heart of winter in the Northern Hemisphere. Life is fragile and we need to protect ourselves from the cold.
