London, we don't need wider roads, we need more options to get around. Induced demand is a thing. Construction is a thing that takes time and causes CHAOS to traffic. You know it's true! So why would you want years and years and years of construction, just to get stuck in traffic again once it's all done? Oh, and don't forget your taxes will be skyrocketing if we keep widening roads and sprawling even more than we have.
