Utah Coaster Enthusiasts | Wicked Remixed at Lagoon [No Limits 2] @utahcoasterenthusiasts | Uploaded March 2016 | Updated October 2024, 10 hours ago.
For a recent design contest called Remixed, which is currently in the judging stages. The contest was to take an existing coaster, past present or future (has to have been announced by a park) and make it better but while still being able to tell what ride it was based on. I decided being Lagoon is my home park and that I have wanted to do this for years, I decided to make Wicked: Remixed! The first half of Wicked I think is a stellar ride and did not need much improvement if at all. So on the first half I edited the airtime hill at the bottom of the first drop to be slightly larger to give more ejector airtime. Then the Mid-Course Brake Run (MCBR) I raised by 10 feet to help the second half be as fast paced as the first half. I made the second half start by dropping into a tunnel, using the same tunnel type, as Wicked has, to keep as true to the real ride as possible. Shooting out of the tunnel the car takes a hairpin turn and drops into a trench passing close to some shipping containers as Wicked’s theme is industrial and I kept that just added to it. Out of the trench, the car is immediately thrown through a barrel roll. Upon exiting the barrel, roll into a high-speed helix and sliding into the Reduction Brake Run. I feel that this is a much better seconded half than the two half pipe turns and wave turn on Wicked. It is realistic to have a coaster be changed like this, but there still is cost and to help keep the realism as close as possible to this happening I did not want to go crazy on track length. Therefore, I gave myself a 15-foot extension boundary on top of the 2050 feet that Wicked has. I ended up only adding 1 foot of track length bringing the track length 2051 feet for Wicked: Remixed!

Hey guys, I have finally gotten to making a remix of Cannibal. After Remixing Wicked at Lagoon in 2016. I knew my next one would be Cannibal. However, I did not anticipate it being 4 years down the road. Hopefully, my next Remixed coaster wont be so far down the road.
So this remix was much harder than Wicked, Wicked has a boring 2nd half so it was easy to redo it. Cannibal has a strong layout and so it was hard to change that. I tried several versions of keeping the Lagoon Roll in the ride but it just didnt fit and so it was eliminated, which was a hard thing to do. I hope you all enjoy Cannibal: Remixed!
If you have a coaster you would like to see remixed, let me know and it might just happen. These do take sometime as I make a full recreation of the original ride in NL first. So expect a Cannibal Recreation real soon, I hope!

The Prospector: Simon Bamberger
Here is a tale about a sleepy little town named Rattlesnake Junction (Pioneer Village).
Rattlesnake Junction is a sleepy little pioneer village located on the confluence of the Rattlesnake River and Little Rattlesnake Creek was settled in 1847 by Mormon Pioneers looking for a peaceful life in the Rocky Mountains.
The village was a local economic powerhouse offering all the services the local population required. It had a village CO-OP, a pony express stop, a black smith, shoe repair, hardware store, carriage repair and the log flume direct fed lumber mill, only one like it in Utah.
By 1860, the local Lumber mill installed Utah’s first Log Flume to feed the supply of wood it required to fulfill orders. It was an extremely successful operation, that is until the railroad came to town. The railroads brought in lumber at a much cheaper price and quickly put the Lumber Mill out of business and land was quickly put up for sale.
The Lumber Mill sat for many months abandoned and falling apart before a buyer bought up the lumber mill. Nobody in the community knew who the buyer was and had hopes that their beloved local lumber mill would be restored.
However, the buyer just happened to be the one who had contributed to the lumber mills going under Mr. Simon Bamberger himself, it was his railroad that came to Rattlesnake Junction. Simon had made his fortune from a silver mining operation in Central Utah a few years before and was now investing that fortune in the search for gold.
There had long been a story told around the village that there was gold in them hills and Simon wanted it. Gold deposits get eroded over time by rivers and creeks and as it does it washes down and will collect along current and former creek beds. Simon had been prospecting along the creek and found a good deposit where the Lumber Mill was, which is when he bought the property. He quickly demolished the lumber mill and built new buildings under the Bamberger Mining Co. name.
Simon was not satisfied with finding just small deposits, he wanted to find what miners refer to as the “Glory Hole” or the source of the gold deposits. In order to find it with much haste Simon is calling upon you to come try his new “gravity railroad” on a gold rush through the hills of Rattlesnake Junction looking for the“Glory Hole.”
Coming in 2025 to Lagoon Amusement Park, The Prospector, a brand new wooden roller coaster that winds its way through the hills of Pioneer Village in the search of the elusive “Glory Hole.”
