The first stop on our 3 week expedition from Singapore to Komodo. Pulau Pejantan (also called Penjantan) is a scientific marvel. Located close enough to Singapore in the South China Sea to be mapped and named, yet virtually uninhabited and only "discovered" by scientists in 2005. It is estimated that over 70% of the species found on this island are found nowhere else on earth.
And that's just the first stop :)
