For anyone serious about off-roading their Subaru, this cheap and easy mod is an absolute must do that will increase both the capability and longevity of your drivetrain. It is ideal for overlanding rough terrain, hill climbing, and general off-road, but may not be suited for more casual or infrequent off-roading - unless you wire it be able to keep the variable power transfer it has from the factory.
