Why do your photos change color when you export them? f you have ever finished editing a photo, exported it, and noticed the colors look different in your browser or on social media, this video is for you. I walk through exactly why it happens and how to fix it permanently in both Photoshop and Capture One.
➡️ As an FYI, if you want to do this in Lightroom, try the following: In the Export dialog for your JPEG, go to file settings. Set exported Image Format to JPEG. In the Color Space dropdown, choose sRGB.
Also... RAW vs JPEG. If you shoot RAW files, the camera's Adobe RGB setting is irrelevant. RAW has no color space. That camera setting only tags in-camera JPEGs. However, a RAW file can contain metadata and an embedded preview that reflect the camera’s sRGB/Adobe RGB menu setting.
