Have you ever wondered why your bow arm naturally moves after the shot?
Many archers try to keep their bow arm perfectly still through the follow-through, but basic physics says that's impossible. In this video, I explain why your bow reacts the way it does, why your bow arm often moves slightly toward the left (for right-handed shooters), and why that movement is actually a sign of maintaining proper pressure rather than creating movement after the release.
This applies to all types of archery including Compound, Recurve, Barebow, and Traditional archers.
Understanding the cause of good follow-through makes it much easier to trust your shot instead of trying to force the correct movement.
