Why You Should Watch Yasuke (Netflix Anime) || Yasuke -- the newest original anime from Netflix created by LeSean Thomas and starring Lakeith Stanfield as the first black samurai -- tells a fantastical story of the historical figure 20 years after serving as a samurai for Nobunaga. But those who were looking forward to a historical fiction telling of Yasuke's life might be turned off by the science fiction and fantasy elements.
